Compact and powerful, the Extech EX810 1000-Amp AC Clamp Meter with Infrared Thermometer provides the versatility of multiple meters in one convenient device. The EX810 measures AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, diode, continuity, frequency, and capacitance. It also includes a built-in, non-contact infrared thermometer that allows you to detect invisible hot spots. A large, backlit display allows for easy reading, while the ergonomically designed housing offers comfortable, one-handed operation.

The Extech EX810 offers multiple functions so service technicians can carry one meter into the field instead of several. This device measures AC current, AC/DC voltage, frequency, resistance, capacitance, diode, and continuity. Its wide-opening, 1-7/10- inch circular jaw fits around conductors up to 750 MCM, or two 500 MCM. The EX810 also features min/max, as well as data and peak hold of current surges during motor startup and other transience that "freezes" data in the display. Additionally, there is auto-ranging with manual override.
