The autoranging EX470 measures AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, diode, and temperature. It also includes a built-in, non-contact infrared thermometer that allows you to detect invisible hot spots, as well as a True RMS function to ensure accurate AC voltage and current measurements without distortion from electronic devices. A large, backlit display and 1-inch high digits allow for easy reading, while the ergonomically designed housing offers comfortable, one-handed operation.

The EX470 offers multiple functions so professionals can carry one meter into the field instead of several. The autoranging EX470 measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, diode test, capacitance, and continuity, all with +/-0.5 percent basic accuracy. The unit has low current capability, measuring down to 0.1uA, and features input fuse protection and mis-connection warnings. A Type K thermometer is built in for surface or air temperature measurements.
For greater convenience, the unit comes with a multi-position tilt stand, a Velcro strap for hanging, and a protective holster with handy test lead holder. CAT III test leads are included.
